Panel Synopsis:
More and more, media junkies are turning to blogs to shape their opinions on mass media and popular culture. From straight-forward news coverage to film, music, and art criticism, political commentary, or even celebrity gossip; blogs are the new indicator of public interest. And people just can't seem to get enough of them. What about the people behind the blogs? Who are they & why do they even do what they do? What keeps them going? What other blogs do they read and emulate?
In this panel, leading bloggers will help you sift through the ever-growing landscape of blogs, discuss their own experiences and answer these and other probing questions. And then when it's all over, they will BLOG THIS PANEL by posting on their own blogs about their experience being on the panel and what they learned that they didn't know before from the other panelists. (They are even welcome to "live blog" the panel during the discussion). This will be a fun and interactive panel that is sure to excite and invigorate the world of blogs as we know it.
