Ever since those four-fingered yellow buffoons first graced our TV screens 20 years ago, we've wanted to bang Marge Simpson. A quick search of the net reveals that a few scandalous drawings of Marge and the rest of the clan are already floating around the internet, but they're shoddily drawn by hacks and imposters.
Sam Raimi said recently that the new 'Spiderman flick', which is set to begin shooting in March, 2010 will "get back to basics." We're hoping these basics don't have anything to do with the shitpile basics of 'Spiderman 3', or the marginally rehashed basics of 'Spiderman 2', but are more closely like the basics of 'Spiderman', all of which he directed.
TV is continuing to suck. As a television historian and and associate professor of media studies at a well-known ivy-league school, I have to say that TV is maybe heading to places from whence it may not return.
Numbers are down in practically everything thanks to a recession and that means things change as corporations try to scramble and think of ways to stay in business to weather the storm. One of the models a lot of entities are going with is increased advertising sales and innovative "new" ways to sell shit.

Best known by non-wrestling fans as Cyndi Lauper's Dad in many of her music videos in the 80s, Captain Lou Albano was a gigantically hearted fat man who dedicated himself to a craft; albeit one that is sometimes ridiculous, and all the time hilarious; wrestling.
Some crazy Germans (and isn't that how a lot of stories start out) have put together some pretty amazing and simple little objets d'art. They've taken dead flies and drawn little scenes around them, I'm sure arranging their body parts to match the scene.

Yes, it's true. Puppets are funny again. The kids over at Black 20 Studios have cooked up a hell of a parody in their new "Heart Felt," a puppet take on 'The Hills.' There's coke, comas, and puppet-fingering; everything we wished (and knew) the Sesame Street gang was doing off screen.
I haven't laughed this hard at puppets in New York since I saw 'Muslims Take Manhattan, a 9/11 Eulogy.'

You know that feeling you used to get when someone asked you if you wanted to go see a burlesque show with them? Remember the way it felt when you walked out because it was really just overweight "classy" women dancing to Tom Waits tunes in an effort to distract them from their 9-6 hellholes? Sure, maybe part way through you're thinking, "OK, maybe I'll at least see some nipplie, or maybe a boosh or two before the night is out." But no, all you end up with is too much bumpy thigh from a pasty bucked-tooth mother of 9.
Terry Gilliam and his daughter decided to continue filming "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" after lead actor, Heath Ledger's accidental death. Gilliam recalled "Even after he died we were still working with him every day. It was still his movie. We'd be like; 'Fuck, that bastard Ledger hasn't shown up again, he better have a good excuse this time!'"
